I know I shouldn't care if I get a negative glance from a stranger I will surely never see again, but as a mom who has always flown alone with my children, I am sensitive to those looks. Then I become more embarrassed and self-conscious, which in turn leaves me less patient with my kids, who are then not having their needs met in a loving and sincere way.
