It was my first journey to England, and as I watched the sun rise from the sky over the country I would call my home, the flight attendant came up to my seat. "Would you like some tea?" she asked, in her beautiful accent. She poured the steaming dark liquid in my cup, and I remember being so excited for the year that was about to unfold, all the cups of English tea I would get to drink, the things God would bring me to that I could only imagine. Maybe it's silly, pouring my tea bringing me back to this moment; but I miss flying, and I miss uncertainty of plunging into the sky, and I miss the adventure of landing somewhere new.
